Basketball Fans Asked to Support Make-A-Wish Vermont in Lieu of Admission Charges at Upcoming Games

COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's and women's basketball teams host their final games of the 2018 calendar year in the next few days, and in lieu of paying admission for those contests, fans are encouraged to make a monetary donation toward Make-A-Wish Vermont.

The Purple Knight men take on Dominican (N.Y.) College on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Post University on Tuesday at 3 p.m., while the women oppose in-state foe Vermont Technical College on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Since 2003, NCAA Division II has been a national sponsor of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, raising more than $5.3 million for the global charity, which grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Make-A-Wish Vermont has granted more than 830 wishes in the last 30 years. For more information or to make a donation directly to Make-A-Wish, visit Vermont.Wish.Org.
