Abigail Keough enters her fourth year as an athletic trainer at Saint Michael's with the 2018-19 school year. She is the second-most senior member of a multi-person staff that works with the Purple Knights' 21 Division II programs, and provides care to numerous teams. Keough also serves as a clinical preceptor to multiple University of Vermont student athletic trainers.

Keough gained a vast amount of experience while studying in the Athletic Training Education Program at nearby UVM. During this time she provided care to athletes at South Burlington High School, UVM, The EDGE Physical Therapy in South Burlington, Colchester High School and Saint Michael's.

After graduating, Keough worked as an intern at nearby Norwich University in summer 2015 with the football team while assisting with preseason training and health screenings for all fall student-athletes.

A 2015 graduate of UVM, Keough earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training. In the spring of 2016, Keough earned her EMT-B certification. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and is a Board of Certification (BOC) certified athletic trainer. As an undergraduate, Keough was a member of UVM's Alpine skiing club, Ski and Snowboard Club, and the Student Athletic Medicine Society. Outside of school, she was a medical volunteer for two Vermont City Marathons and for the 2014 Massachusetts Bay State Games.

Both of Keough's parents, Edward Jr. '82 and Nan Jane '82, are Saint Michael's alums.
