Saint Michael's College student-athletes and coaches have been up to a lot since the 2016-17 school year ended, with some achievements from last spring having yet to be reported.
A large contingent of Saint Michael's College students who have studied away from campus during the 2016-17 school year and this summer are also Purple Knight student-athletes, as 26 among the 130 who took advantage of the opportunity through the College's Study Abroad Office donned Purple and Gold during the academic year.
Saint Michael's College had 219 student-athletes qualify for the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the spring semester, including 17 that posted a 4.0 grade-point average last semester.
With their college seasons complete, seven Saint Michael's College baseball student-athletes are amid summer campaigns in leagues stretching from New England to South Carolina, while head coach Jason Szafarski is serving the same position with the Upper Valley Nighthawks of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL).
