COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse first-year Anthony Sullivan (Westfield, Mass./Westfield) was one of 15 players from around the league named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team, it was announced on Thursday. He becomes the fifth Purple Knight in four years to be honored.
The highest-scoring midfielder on the team, Sullivan finished third on the team in each goals (11), assists (8) and points (19). He appeared in all 12 contests, making three starts, while adding 11 ground balls and three caused turnovers. Each of his starts came in the final three games of the season, when Sullivan tabulated nearly half of his season points, registering six goals and three assists.
After posting two goals, one assist, two ground balls and one caused turnover versus 18th-ranked Saint Anselm College on April 11, Sullivan had his first collegiate hat trick to go along with three assists against American International College on April 22. In the season finale, he potted two more goals against The College of Saint Rose on April 29.
