COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse sophomore Dominic Joy (Scarborough, Maine/Scarborough) secured a spot on the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Sunday, April 28. This is the fifth time this season that Joy has been named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll.
Joy made 12 saves with three ground balls in a 12-3 loss to No. 5 Merrimack College on Tuesday, finishing with a .500 save percentage for the game while allowing only seven goals in the opening 45 minutes.
Joy finished his first season as a starter with career highs in saves (169), save percentage (55.0), and minutes (765:37). His save total is 10th in program history, while his minutes are the ninth-most played in a season at the College. He is currently third in the NE10 in saves, fifth in saves per game (11.27), and seventh in save percentage. Joy sits 20th in Division II in save percentage. Nine of the 15 opponents Joy faced this season were either nationally ranked or receiving votes.
