Hall Leads Skiing To 10th Place After Day One Of EISA Championships

CARRABASSETT VALLEY and RUMFORD, Maine - Saint Michael's College sophomore Gabbi Hall (Incline Village, Nev./Forest Charter School) had a strong 16th-place finish in the women's slalom, leading the ski program to 10th place on Saturday at the EISA Championships, hosted by Bates College and held at Sunday River and Black Mountain.

In the men's slalom, junior Nathan Bryant (Lee, N.H./Oyster River) had Saint Michael's best finish, placing 33rd.

In Nordic action, freshman Gabrielle Naranja (Fort Kent, Maine/Fort Kent Community) performed well in the five-kilometer freestyle, finishing 39th. It marks the Purple Knights' best women's skate result since 1999.

The two-day, season-ending meet concludes on Sunday starting at 9 a.m.
