COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College had 230 student-athletes qualify for the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the fall semester, including nine from the men's swimming & diving team and 12 from the women's:
Seniors Stephen Andersen (Concord, N.H./Concord), Ryan Butler (Waltham, Mass./Waltham) and Sean Glasheen (Lowell, Mass./Lowell); juniors Jake Fox (Cranston, R.I./Bishop Hendricken), Michael May (Wallingford, Conn./Lyman Hall) and Spencer Ralston (Hebron, Conn./Cushing Academy); sophomores Seamus Butler (Waltham, Mass./Waltham) and Pat Thornton (Lawrenceville, N.J./Lawrence); and first-year Aidan Mulderrig (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side).
Seniors Lindsay McNall (Colchester, Vt./Colchester), Cymantha Rogers (Swampscott, Mass./Swampscott) and Katrina Wiesner (Bow, N.H./Bow); juniors Ally Fischang (Oakland, Maine/Messalonskee), Genevieve Gigandet (Groveland, Mass./Central Catholic), Theresa Murphy (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield), Coral Santos (Pawtucket, R.I./Saint Raphael Academy) and Sammy Sidorakis (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker); sophomore Patty Kohn (Weston, Conn./Greenwich); first-years Sarah Brennan (Glen Rock, N.J./Immaculate Heart Academy), Lauren Giampietro (Watertown, Conn./Watertown) and Megan Reid (Winchester, Mass./Winchester).
Giampietro was among 12 Saint Michael's student-athletes to earn a 4.0 GPA.
Saint Michael's placed 11th among the league's 15 institutions in total honorees, but it was sixth by having 68 percent of its NE10 student-athletes land on the Commissioner's Honor Roll. Student-athletes that earn a minimum 3.0 GPA during a given semester are eligible for the accolade. Eighteen of the Purple Knights' squads compete in the NE10.
The men's lacrosse team topped Saint Michael's with 27 honorees apiece, while women's cross country (24), field hockey (23) and women's soccer (21) narrowly trailed.
