    COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's cross country team, led by first-year head coach Molly Peters, has earned the inaugural Northeast-10 Conference Team Sportsmanship Award, it was announced on Wednesday.

    COLCHESTER, Vt. - Six Saint Michael's College cross country runners were named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic Team on Tuesday. Graduate student Liz Gray (Westmoreland, N.H./Keene) earned First Team honors, sophomores Matt Alexander (Richmond, Vt./Mount Mansfield Union), Paul Jarvis (Barton, Vt./Lake Region) and Will Manning (Jericho, Vt./Mount Mansfield Union) garnered Second Team honors, and junior Matt Scanlin (Skowhegan, Maine/Skowhegan Area) and sophomore Mary Lynn Denholm (Sparks, Md./Okemo Mountain School) received Third Team honors.

    BOSTON, Mass. - Senior Thomas Lichtenberger (Bloomfield, Conn./Northwest Catholic) finished his collegiate career by earning a spot on the NCAA Division II All-Northeast Region Team, as he finished 15th on Sunday at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship in Franklin Park. Sophomore Mary Lynn Denholm (Sparks, Md./Okemo Mountain School) led the women with a 21st-place finish.
