Meaghan Goodheart is in her second year as an athletic trainer at Saint Michael's during the 2019-20 school year.
A native of nearby Westford, Goodheart spent the 2017-18 school year as the graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Bridgeport, where she provided primary coverage of the men's soccer, women's basketball and softball programs. Between August 2015 and July 2017, Goodheart was the head athletic trainer at Coventry (Conn.) High School through her employment with Integrated Rehabilitation Services. During her time in Connecticut, Goodheart was a preceptor to student athletic trainers from the University of Connecticut, Quinnipiac University and Sacred Heart University.
A member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), Goodheart earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Ithaca College in 2015. She worked with a wide range of sports as an undergraduate, including field hockey, football and gymnastics at Ithaca and women's ice hockey at Cornell University. Goodheart is amid completing her master's degree in human nutrition from Bridgeport.
