Katherine Paradis joined the Saint Michael's Athletic Training staff in November 2018 and is amid her second school year as an athletic trainer at the College in 2019-20.
Paradis came to Saint Michael's from Saint Bonaventure (N.Y.) University, where she worked with the Division I women's soccer and women's lacrosse programs during fall 2018. Paradis was a graduate assistant AT at California University of Pennsylvania during the 2017-18 school year, working closely with the women's soccer and softball programs while completing her master of science in AT.
A 2016 graduate of the University of Vermont, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in AT, Paradis spent the 2016-17 school year as an AT at Mamaroneck (N.Y.) High School, covering a dozen boys' and girls' sports. Among her clinical rotations while still an undergrad was at Saint Michael's during the 2015-16 school year, when she worked with the men's ice hockey program. She has also gained professional experience locally at the Rehab Gym in Williston, Colchester High School and South Burlington High School, and with the UVM men's soccer team.
A native of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Paradis was a medical volunteer during the 2015 Vermont City Marathon in Burlington and an AT at the Mario Lemieux Fantasy Hockey Camp in Pittsburgh during March 2018. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA).
