Men's Golf 10th Among 15 Squads in Strong Field at Post Eagles Invitational

WATERTOWN, Conn. - The Saint Michael's College men's golf team continued a run of three tournaments in a little more than a week by taking 10th among 15 teams on the opening day of the Post University Eagles Invitational on Monday at Watertown Golf Club. The Purple Knights close their fall season with their sixth round in 10 days on Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. The spring portion of the schedule has yet to be determined.

TEAM RESULTS

  • The Purple Knights are tied for 10th among 15 teams with 315 strokes, one short of Assumption College's B team.
  • Of the teams the Purple and Gold trailed, six were NCAA Atlantic/East Championship qualifiers last spring.
