Emily Horgan enters her second season as an assistant coach with the Saint Michael's women's cross country program in 2019. Horgan is also the College's assistant director for annual giving.
The fall of 2018 saw the Purple and Gold place third out of nine schools at Middlebury College's Aldrich Invitational in mid-September before taking second among eight squads during the Vermont Intercollegiate Championship later in the month at Northern Vermont University-Lyndon. In a field comprised of Division II and III programs, the Purple Knights were ninth out of 36 schools during the James Earley Invitational before capturing 18th in a 29-school field at the NCAA East Regional Championship on Long Island.
A native of Hamilton, Mass., Horgan ran three years of cross country at nearby University of Vermont.
