COLCHESTER, Vt. - The regionally-ranked Saint Michael's College men's tennis team downed Northern Vermont University-Lyndon, 7-0, on Wednesday in the Tarrant Recreation Center. The Purple Knights were 10th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Region poll.

MATCH FACTS
- By winning his 57th and 58th career matches, Boucher passed Kevin Birch '93 (57) for third in program history. Boucher also matched John Lescure '09 and Craig Lindabery '10 for sixth in school annals with his 28th singles win. He became the sixth Purple Knight with 30 doubles triumphs.
- Barroso improved to 9-1 during singles on the season.
THE ACTION
- All three Purple Knight doubles teams won 6-0 decisions. Boucher and Weiss improved to 3-1 together this season while taking a victory at No. 1, while Barroso and van den Broek earned their first win in two matches as partners from the second spot. Du Plessis and Lundholm also moved to 3-1 with a triumph at No. 3.
- Six Purple Knights swept through singles matches. Boucher, Weiss and Barroso won at No. 2, 1 and 4, respectively, to clinch the team victory. Du Plessis, Billman and van den Broek finished off the match by taking wins in the third, fifth and sixth spots, respectively.
