Women's Lacrosse Opens NE10 Play with Loss to No. 25 Saint Anselm

COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse team opened Northeast-10 Conference play with a 12-2 loss to No. 25 Saint Anselm College on Wednesday at Duffy Field. The Hawks' national ranking is according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).

THE ACTION

  • Palmisano, Sullivan and sophomore Samantha Rivet all scored twice in the first quarter, and consecutive Palmisano tallies gave Saint Anselm a 10-0 lead by 5:40 of the second period.
