SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College men's tennis team closed the regular season with a 7-0 loss to two-time defending Northeast-10 Conference champion Le Moyne College on Saturday at Syracuse University's Skytop Tennis Courts. The Purple Knights were 10th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Region Poll, while the Dolphins, who qualified for the last two NCAA Tournaments, are third in the NCAA East Region Poll.
The Purple Knights secured the No. 4 seed in the upcoming NE10 Championship and will host fifth-seeded Bentley University for a first-round match on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

- Seniors Jason Boucher (Bedford, N.H./Bedford) and Josh Weiss (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Mendon), in the second spot, and classmate Seb Tonini (Derry, N.H./Pinkerton Academy) and first-year Julius van den Broek (Bergschenhoek, The Netherlands/Wolfert Lyceum), at No. 3, both lost 6-1 matches.
- Du Plessis lost 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5 singles before Boucher suffered a 6-1, 6-3 setback in the third spot to the third-ranked player in the region. Sophomore Sergio Barroso (Madrid, Spain/Colegio Montpellier) was downed by a 6-3, 6-4 count at No. 4, allowing Le Moyne to clinch the match victory.
- Junior Jackson Moser (Missouri City, Texas/Ridge Point) lost 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2 to the region's seventh-ranked player, while Weiss fell by a 6-3, 7-5 count in the top position to the 10th-ranked student-athlete in the East. Billman concluded the match with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (5-7), 10-6 setback in the sixth spot, losing for the first time in six outings.
