Women's Lacrosse Concludes Season at Second-Ranked Pace

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse team capped its season with a 21-7 loss to No. 2 Pace University on Saturday in Northeast-10 Conference play in Pace Stadium. The Setters' national ranking is according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), and they were first in the latest NCAA East Region rankings.

  • Conway scored twice as Pace led 6-0 with 4:35 remaining in the first quarter.
  • Stolz buried a free-position attempt 30 seconds later, as the Purple Knights were 3-of-3 on eight-meter shots in the game.
  • Alto connected on consecutive goals at 4:05 and 1:49 of the third period, with Stolz and senior Peyton Edwards (Avon, Conn./Avon), respectively, assisting.
