Tad Giardina (Reading, Mass./Saint Mary's) batted .474 with a .842 slugging percentage last week, adding four doubles, his first career home run and six RBI, while Moynihan batted .419 with four doubles. Sophomore

Trevor Arsenault (Websterville, Vt./Spaulding) and
Richard Gilboy (South Portland, Maine/South Portland) both drove in a team-high seven runs. The Purple Knights were swept by regionally-ranked Southern Connecticut State University, 6-3 and 15-4 in seven innings, on Monday before losing twice at Adelphi University, 12-7 and 5-1 in seven innings, on Wednesday. They then split The College of Saint Rose on Saturday, taking the opener, 12-6 in 10 innings, before losing a 17-6, seven-inning affair in the nightcap. Men's Golf Takes Ninth at Penmen Spring Invitational
The Saint Michael's College men's golf team concluded play at Southern New Hampshire University's two-day Penmen Spring Invitational on Tuesday. The Purple Knights carded a 328-323--651 for the tournament, taking ninth among nine squads. Junior

Men's Lacrosse (8-4, 5-3 NE10) Wins Twice, Knocks Off No. 7 Saint Anselm, 15-13
The Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse team, which received votes toward the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) national poll, went 2-0 in Northeast-10 Conference play last week, downing No. 7 Saint Anselm College, 15-13, on Wednesday before defeating The College of Saint Rose, 15-6, on Saturday. With one regular-season game to go, the Purple Knights have clinched a top-five seed for the NE10 Championship; the top four host postseason contests, with the No. 3 and 4 seeds hosting first-round games on Saturday.

Michael Cammarata Jr. (North Andover, Mass./Saint John's Prep) recorded five ground balls and four caused turnovers. Saint Michael's downed a ranked foe for the first time since a 12-11 win against No. 9 Lake Erie College on March 9, 2022, but for the first time against a ranked NE10 squad since an 11-9 upset of No. 2 Adelphi University on April 13, 2013. Rocky Grillone (Brockton, Mass./Cardinal Spellman) scooped seven ground balls. During the week, Wilson set school records for career ground balls (251) and season faceoff wins (165). Grillone (70) and Cammarata (50) are tied for third and tied for ninth, respectively, in program history in career caused turnovers, and Regan is the fourth Purple Knight with eight wins in a season. Simonson moved into ninth in school annals in career points (139) and sixth in goals (93), and he is tied for eighth in season points (53).

The Saint Michael's College softball team went 3-5 in Northeast-10 Conference play last week, splitting three doubleheaders along the way. With six league contests remaining, all during the upcoming week, the Purple Knights trail Bentley University by one game for the eighth and final NE10 Championship position. Senior

After being swept by Southern New Hampshire University, 9-0 in five innings and 6-4 in eight innings, on Tuesday, Saint Michael's lost game one at Assumption University, 4-3, on Saturday before earning a 3-1 win in game two. Sunday saw the Purple and Gold lose a 6-1 decision at Bentley in the opener before taking the nightcap, 3-2. Devens exited the week tied for first in program history in career home runs (20), second in RBI (77) - one short of a school record, tied for second in doubles (28) and walks (48), and fourth in hits (130). Johns is fifth in hits (126), tied for fifth in runs (55) and tied for sixth in doubles (22), while Connor is seventh in home runs (11) and ninth in RBI (52) in addition to collecting 95 hits in only three seasons. The regionally-ranked Saint Michael's College men's tennis team lost to Assumption University, 4-3, on Saturday during Northeast-10 Conference play. The Purple Knights were ninth in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Region poll. Seniors
