Devens Breaks Homers and RBI Records as Softball Sweeps New Haven

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Junior Jenna Devens (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) broke Saint Michael's College softball records for career home runs and RBI in helping the Purple Knights stay in the postseason hunt with a sweep of the University of New Haven, 5-3 and 7-1, in a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader Friday at Doc Jacobs Field.

With two regular-season games remaining, Saint Michael's is tied for the eighth and final NE10 Championship position with The College of Saint Rose while standing two games clear of Southern Connecticut State University, the Purple and Gold's opponent for a twinbill on Saturday.
