FAST FACTS
With a full lineup, the Purple Knights began last season with three top-two finishes in a row, including winning the season-opening Shacklette Invitational ... they followed that up by placing sixth among 30 teams at the James Earley Invitational and third out of 13 at the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup ... six of the seven harriers who competed at the NCAA East Regional Championship are back this fall ... overall, seven student-athletes who combined for 21 top-25 finishes in 2023 return, including sophomore Andrew Scanio (Lake Placid, N.Y./Lake Placid), the first Purple Knight men's cross country first-year to earn an NE10 All-Conference citation since 2001.
 
KEY DATES
The Purple Knights open the season on Sept. 7 at Saint Anselm College's Shacklette Invitational before hosting their annual Equality Invitational on Sept. 21, offering 8K events for all genders ... Saint Michael's heads to Roberts Wesleyan University's Anderson Invitational on Sept. 28 and rounds out the regular season at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in New Hampshire for Franklin Pierce University's Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup on Oct. 11 ... the Purple Knights are back at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds on Oct. 27 for the NE10 Championship before also making a return trip to Roberts Wesleyan on Nov. 9 for the NCAA East Regional Championship ... qualifiers head to the NCAA Championship on Nov. 23 in Sacramento, Calif.
