Women's Lacrosse Falls in Opener at 10th-Ranked Saint Leo

SAINT LEO, Fla. - The Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse team opened its season at No. 10 Saint Leo University with a 22-4 loss on Thursday evening at the University Turf Stadium. The Lions' national ranking is according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).

THE ACTION
  • Four different Lions scored as the hosts led 4-0 by 8:47 of the first quarter before Frawley struck for a free-position strike at 6:33.
  • Saint Leo scored the next 15 goals by the time 6:56 remained in the third period.
  • During the final 18:24, Conover scored and dished to Lynch for a marker before Sullivan tallied off of a Hamilton feed, as the teams split the last six goals.
