Women's Tennis Loses at Saint Lawrence

CANTON, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College women's tennis team lost to Saint Lawrence University, 7-0, on Friday in Newell Field House.

THE ACTION
  • The Purple Knights were swept in doubles play. Top tandem of sophomores Lucy McPherson (Vancouver, British Columbia/Magee Secondary School) and Jedidah Xu (Ellington, Conn./Ellington) were downed 6-3, while junior Emma Gredenhag (Jacksonville, Fla./Bishop Kenny) and sophomore Annabelle Aldrete (Wichita, Kan./Andover eCademy) lost by the same margin at No. 2.
  • Aldrete narrowly lost a 6-3, 3-6, 10-4 decision at No. 4 singles, while McPherson fell by a 7-5, 6-2 count in the top spot.
