COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's and women's swimming & diving teams each earned College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team awards for the spring semester. Saint Michael's was one of 48 NCAA Division II institutions whose men's and women's squads were both lauded.

The Purple Knight women drew the CSCAA Scholar All-America team honor for the 23rd time in 27 cycles, and the men were recognized for the 18th time in the past 23 semesters.
Eileen Hall just finished her 16th season as head coach of both programs, as Saint Michael's was one of five Northeast 10 Conference school to have each of its teams recognized. Squads with a minimum 3.0 grade-point average last semester were lauded with the accolade.

With a 3.51 GPA, the Purple Knight women were 45th among 63 Division II teams on the 3.0 list this past semester, while the men, at 3.03, were in a 49-school field. In all, 27 Purple Knights had at least a 3.0 term GPA during the spring.

The CSCAA Scholar All-America team award has been distributed each semester since the beginning of the 2013-14 school year after previously being an annual honor.
