Saint Michael's College

This award, as chosen by the Sports Medicine Staff, is given to a student-athlete who has demonstrated unwavering fortitude through hardship, approaching their recovery with bravery, grace, and a commitment to positively influence team culture. This student-athlete has consistently utilized Athletic Training Room resources or physical therapy off campus, while maintaining clear and proactive communication with the Sports Medicine staff. Despite their circumstances, this student-athlete shows up to team activities and contributes in whatever way they can at the time, whether that is physically participating or verbally supporting their teammates. This award is given to a student-athlete who has put every effort into being able to return to their sport, although we recognize that not every recovery may allow for a full return to sport. We take the time as a Sports Medicine staff to acknowledge this student-athlete for the tremendous journey we have seen them face with resilience and optimism.
