As a Sophomore: 13th in 100-yard backstroke, 15th in 200-yard backstroke, and 18th in 200-yard individual medley, and helped team place 13th in 200-yard freestyle relay and 14th in 400-yard freestyle relay, at NE-10 Championship ... 18th in 50-yard backstroke, 20th in 100-yard backstroke, and 37th in 50-yard butterfly at NEISDA Championship ... also played on the SMC baseball team, pitching in five games in relief.

As a Freshman: Placed 18th in 200-yard backstroke and 20th in 100-yard backstroke at NE-10 Championship.

High School: Swam for four years at Saint Anthony's High School ... an all-league swimmer in 2005, 2007 and 2008.

Personal: Christopher Ryan Hoey ... born August 4, 1990 ... son of Stephen and Michele Hoey ... majoring in business administration, and minoring in journalism and mass communications ... father played college lacrosse at Notre Dame ... uncle is former NHL standout Pat LaFontaine.
