As a Junior

  • Went 3-1 between singles and doubles at Connecticut College Tournament on Sept. 10, including siding with Simon Lundholm '26 to win C doubles
  • Won at No. 5 singles (6-2, 7-5) at Division I Merrimack on Oct. 14
  • Won at No. 4 singles (6-2, 6-2) over 23rd-ranked player in region at Bates on Oct. 15
  • Won at No. 4 singles (4-6, 6-3, 6-1) and No. 1 doubles (6-0) at Franklin Pierce on March 25
  • Won at No. 5 singles (6-4, 5-7, 10-1) and No. 1 doubles (7-5) at Bentley on April 11

As a Sophomore

  • Played tennis at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Ala.
  • Helped team win Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) regular-season and postseason championships
  • Helped team tie for 10th at National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Championship
  • Went 1-1 in NJCAA Division I Championship No. 4 singles bracket, advancing to Round of 16 and taking the most games off of the eventual champion during the tournament in 6-4, 6-3 loss
  • Went 1-1 in NJCAA Division I Championship No. 3 doubles bracket, advancing to Round of 16 before losing to eventual runners-up
  • Finished JUCO career 27-8 in singles and 26-9 in doubles

As a Freshman

  • Played tennis at Wallace State Community College, enrolled for second semester
  • Helped team win ACCC regular-season and postseason championships
  • Helped team tie for seventh at NJCAA Division I Championship
  • Went 2-1 in NJCAA Division I Championship No. 3 singles bracket, advancing to quarterfinals before losing to eventual runner-up
  • Went 2-1 in NJCAA Division I Championship No. 2 doubles bracket, advancing to quarterfinals before losing to eventual champions

High School: Competed in tennis, cricket, equestrian and rugby at Hoërskool Waterkloof ... helped tennis team win league championship as freshman ... helped cricket team win one league championship and finish as runner-up three times ... earned national colors and regional colors in equestrian ... named Waterkloof Horserider of the Year.

Personal: Tristian Du Plessis ... son of Abraham and Heidi Du Plessis ... pursuing graduate degree in clinical psychology ... completed degree in psychology (business management minor) in May 2024 ... member of Saint Michael's Fire & Rescue.
