A former two-year captain with the Purple Knights, Austin Ziskie '12 heads into his second season as an assistant coach with his alma mater in 2015.

The highlight to the Purple and Gold's 2014 campaign was a 5-4 upset of 25th-ranked Franklin Pierce on May 1 in Rindge, N.H. Saint Michael's also downed a pair of regionally-ranked teams, knocking off New Haven on April 5 and Merrimack on April 26. During its final seven contests, Saint Michael's went 4-3. In an interim capacity, Ziskie received credit for his only college head coaching decision on March 27 during a loss to nationally-ranked Southern New Hampshire.

A 2012 graduate, Ziskie fanned 146 batters during 195.2 career innings in Purple and Gold, leading the team in strikeouts three of his four years. As a senior, he went 3-2 with a pair of complete games, including a 1-0, three-hit shutout of New Haven.
