Chris Cochran '06, a former two-year captainand four-year member of the Saint Michael's men's swimming &diving program, heads into his second season as the men's andwomen's diving coach at his alma mater in 2012-13.

The head swimming coach at the Greater Burlington YMCA since2010, Cochran provides a wealth of experience around the pool. Hecoached at Sandwich (Mass.) High School between 2006 and 2008 aftera stint with Green Mountain Aquatics, and was the head swiminstructor and head lifeguard in Barnstable, Mass., for twosummers. Cochran was the head lifeguard for seven years at theSandwich Community School, and during the summer of 2010 at the NewSeabury Resort in Mashpee, Mass.

A diving and freestyle specialist as an undergraduate, Cochranwas a two-year member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee(SAAC) and was named his team's most valuable athlete three times.He graduated from Saint Michael's in 2006.
