Christina Brazeau coachingChristina Brazeau '17 M'22 returns to her alma mater for her seventh year as an assistant coach with the Saint Michael's softball program in 2026.

Brazeau was a junior varsity softball assistant coach at nearby Essex High School in 2018 and 2019, helping tutor and raise the skill level of approximately a dozen underclassmen each season. She has also been a hitting instructor back in her native Rhode Island, having grown up in Warwick.

The Purple Knights' starting second baseman and regular leadoff hitter her last three years of college, Brazeau picked up all 77 of her career hits in that time while fielding at a .949 clip. Brazeau's .984 fielding percentage as a sophomore was one of the best in the nation among middle infielders, and she batted .299 with 17 runs and seven doubles as a junior, walking 10 times to only nine strikeouts. Brazeau dropped 10 sacrifice hits as a senior. She gained international experience the summer prior to her senior year, playing for a USA Athletes International (USAAI) team that toured Curaçao.

Brazeau was a history major and elementary education minor at Saint Michael's before graduating in 2017. She completed a master's degree in teaching from the College in 2022.
