Evelyn Miller began her tenure as Saint Michael's College Manager of Athletic Equipment and Game Operations on Jan. 2, 2025, and heads into her second school year in the position in 2025-26. She also represents the College on the Northeast 10 Conference Sport Administration Council.
Miller gained a vast amount of administrative experience as a Stonehill College Athletic Department intern during the 2020-21 school year. In that role, she assisted the Recreational Sports and Sports Information departments with student engagement initiatives, worked with compliance personnel to organize and complete the school's five-year NCAA Self-Study Guide, and assisted the sports complex building supervisor to oversee student employees and facility operations. Miller also attended that year's NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar.
Miller was previously employed by Rally Point Racquet Club in Greenville, R.I., for a number of years, teaching tennis to a wide range of ages and abilities. She served as tennis league coordinator for the 2023-24 season, organizing weekly competition for more than 350 members. Miller served as a Springfield College Department of Physical Education and Health Education teaching fellow during the 2022-23 school year.
Miller was Ponaganset (R.I.) High School girls' tennis head coach in fall 2023, a Springfield women's tennis graduate assistant coach during the 2022-23 school year, Mount Saint Charles (R.I.) Academy boys' and girls' tennis head coach in 2021-22, and Stonehill women's tennis volunteer assistant coach in spring 2021. Miller also coached with Special Olympics Rhode Island in fall 2023.
A former tennis standout at Colby-Sawyer College, Miller completed her bachelor's degree in biology on a pre-med track in 2018. Also a chemistry minor, she was a Wesson Honors Scholar and graduated summa cum laude while earning a Biology Capstone Award. Miller finished her master's in athletic leadership at Springfield in 2023.
During her undergraduate tennis career at Colby-Sawyer, Miller posted a 101-34 record, helped the Chargers to three NCAA bids, and landed five all-league nods in just three years. She was a captain her senior year, when Miller was named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Co-Woman of the Year, NAC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year, NAC Tournament MVP, and Colby-Sawyer's Wynne Jesser McGrew Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year. As a junior, the Smithfield, R.I., native earned the Jill Craybas Award as Rhode Island's top female college player.
