Jayna Ryan joined Saint Michael's College as the Administrative Coordinator of Athletics in October 2025.
Ryan was most recently Club Services Manager for Pictona at Holly Hill, a premiere pickleball facility near Daytona Beach, Fla. During her stint there, Ryan supported more than 1,400 members by managing and scheduling 49 courts for daily play, creating new programs and organization methods, supervising events and tournaments, and managing financial records. From 2024 to 2025, she keyed a 33% growth in attendance for member programming.
A native of Rockville, R.I., Ryan served as Coordinator of Recreation Center Programming at Rhode Island College between June 2023 and August 2024, supporting a student population of 5,800. She developed recreation programming, led the intramural programming, aided in oversight and operation of the facility, and recruited and trained more than a dozen student employees. Through strategic marketing initiatives, Ryan increased building usage by 19% during her time there. She also directed and managed a summer camp that served more than 1,000 children.
A four-year outfielder on the Vermont State University Castleton softball team, Ryan was a graduate assistant at her alma mater during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school years. In that role, she aided in the operations of a 28-sport department, managed game day operations, trained and supervised more than 50 student employees, and assisted marketing and operations efforts of the ice hockey programs.
Ryan completed her master of science degree in athletic leadership in 2023, finishing with a 4.0 grade-point average. In 2021, she earned her bachelor of science degree in sport management, graduating cum laude while also minoring in business and coaching. A two-time Little East Conference All-Academic selection, Ryan was a member of VTSU Castleton's Sport Management Review Committee. She gained additional experience as an intern with the Double-A baseball Portland (Maine) Sea Dogs during summer 2021.
