Lauren BroughLauren Brough returns for her third season as Saint Michael's women's volleyball head coach in 2025 and her sixth with the program following three seasons as an assistant coach. The first full-time head coach in program history, Brough helped the Purple Knights reach their first Northeast 10 Conference Championship in 28 years during the 2023 season. She is also the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) co-adviser.

Prior to arriving at Saint Michael's, Brough was an associate regional director for Zero Gravity Basketball out of Wilmington, Mass., in early 2020. While still a senior at Bates College during the 2018-19 school year, Brough volunteered through the after-school volleyball program at neighboring Montello Elementary School in Lewiston, Maine, and was an assistant coach with the Maine Juniors Volleyball Club.

A native of Killingworth, Conn., Brough played four years of volleyball at Bates, graduating with a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2019. The Bobcats qualified for the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Tournament each year, while Brough totaled 106 kills, 328 digs and 45 aces in 59 career matches from her outside hitter position. A three-time NESCAC All-Academic qualifier, Brough earned a Bates Senior Scholar Award and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Following her senior season, she spent much of 2019 as the program's volunteer coordinator for alumni engagement.

Brough completed her master's degree student in communication sciences and disorders at the University of Vermont in 2024.
