Matt Meunier returns for his seventh season as a Saint Michael's baseball assistant coach in 2026.

An instructor at the Bases Loaded Baseball & Softball Academy in Williston since 2017, Meunier was an assistant coach at his alma mater, the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, in 2016, working with infielders, outfielders and hitters as well as being involved with recruiting.

At the youth level, Meunier was head coach of the 14U Clinton County (N.Y.) Mariners and an instructor for North Country Baseball, working with players aged 13 to 16. He also organized and operated summer camps for children aged 5 to 13 for six years before coming to the Bases Loaded Bulldogs program, where Meunier has been head coach at the 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and 18U levels. He added coordinator of Bulldog summer camps to his list of responsibilities in 2019 and was junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant coach at nearby Champlain Valley Union High School in 2018 and 2019. The Redhawks were 34-3 overall and 24-2 in the Metro League those seasons, winning two regular-season conference titles and the 2019 Division I state championship.

During his schoolboy years, Meunier was all-state and All-Metro League at BFA-Saint Albans. A decorated outfielder during his four-year career at SUNY Plattsburgh, Meunier was a two-time captain and nabbed the Coaches Award as a first-year. By his senior season, he earned the Dr. Ernest P. Rangazas Award, given to a senior who makes a great contribution to the program throughout his career, both academic and academically. After graduating with a degree in sociology in 2015, Meunier went on to earn a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2017 from his alma mater.

Meunier has worked at Champlain Valley Union High School since 2018, first as a school-based clinician through the Howard Center and, beginning in 2020, as a Student Assistance Program counselor for the Champlain Valley School District.
