Travis Warech returns to the Saint Michael's men's basketball program for his fourth season on the staff in 2025-26, and his third in a player development role after working as an assistant coach in 2022-23.

Warech has built a successful professional career overseas, playing for nine teams in Germany and Israel since 2013. The highest scorer in Hapoel Be'er Sheva (Israel) B.C. history, with 1,044 points, Warech finished third in the Israeli Basketball Premier League in three-point percentage (44.8%) during the 2018-19 season, helping the team to a runner-up finish in the league cup.

Warech, who played three years at Saint Michael's before finishing his college career at Ithaca College, helped the United States win gold at the 2017 Maccabiah Games in Israel. After becoming the 13th junior in Saint Michael's history to reach 1,000 career points, he helped Ithaca make a run to the 2012-13 NCAA Division III Sweet 16. The Pine Brook, N.J., native earned an Empire 8 Athletic Conference All-Conference second team selection that year after landing on the Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team in 2009-10. Also an NE10 Academic All-Conference pick in 2011-12, Warech graduated from Ithaca with a degree in economics.
