Watts evened the score 5:48 into the second period with help from Silver, who put the Purple Knights up for good six minutes later with a power play goal off of assists from Watts and senior Jonathan Perez (Sherman Oaks, Calif./Berkshire School), who also scored the game winner.

With Craig Geregosian's (North Andover, Mass./Valley Jr. Warriors) assist on Silver's second goal at 15:46 of the third period, four Purple Knights seniors notched points in what would be the final regular season contest at Cairns Arena for five players: Nick Dancey, Geregosian, David Mullins (Montreal, Quebec/Governor Dummer), Perez, and Watts, who were honored prior to the contest.
