THE ACTION

- With 19:00 gone, the Purple Knights were awarded a penalty shot, where junior Sel Narby (Huntington, N.Y./Connecticut Junior Rangers) tried to beat Wallace with a backhanded shot, but Wallace was there for the save.
- The Ravens tied the game with 2.4 seconds left in the period on a power-play goal after a shot by senior Cameron Shepardson was saved on the left side, but the rebound was passed on by sophomore Anthony Nikolopoulos to Stevenson, who put the puck past Lindberg.
- The Purple Knights took back the lead with 4:38 gone in the second period when Routh intercepted a pass during a Raven power play and passed the puck up the boards to Schreiner, who finished the breakaway with a shot over the left shoulder of Wallace.
- Lindberg made a save on a shot from the doorstep of the goal by first-year Conor Foley 16:35 into the period and then saved the rebound shot by Stevenson.
- The Purple Knights began the third period on a power play, during which Wallace stopped all five shots to deny the chance of Saint Michael's extending the lead.
- With 26.9 seconds remaining in the third period, the Ravens tied the game up on a 6-on-3 power play with the goalie pulled when a shot by Lester from the right circle hit the upper left of the net.
- No further shots reached the net in regulation, and the Ravens began the overtime period on a power play. Senior James Morrissey had the best bid in the extra session, but his one-timer during a man advantage from out front at 1:20 that was ticketed for the upper left corner was denied by Lindberg.
