THE ACTION
- Terrazzano scored the winning goal just 34 seconds into the contest, slipping a shot home from the right circle.
- White kept it a 1-0 game by denying Terrazzano's breakaway bid with seven minutes gone.
- The Purple Knights had a good look at an equalizer late in the second period, as the rebound of sophomore Angelina Ruiz's (Independence, Minn./Gentry Academy) shot during a power play bounced to senior Callie Wiley (Andover, Mass./Andover), but Saunders recovered to negate Wiley's open look at the left side of the net with five minutes left in the frame.
- White made a pad save of sophomore Alexandrea Bednar's bid from the right circle at 4:10 of the third period before registering a glove stop on senior Catherine Proulx at the right post with 8:39 gone.
- Kennard nearly tied the game 11 minutes in, but her shot from the slot trickled through the netminder's five-hole and just wide of the left post. Kennard made a couple nice moves to get in close around 15:20, but her shorthanded bid from the slot was denied.
- With White pulled and the final seconds winding down, Browning picked off an errant pass by a Purple Knight and slid a shot just inside the right post with 0.8 seconds left in regulation to pad the lead.
