  • With eight seconds remaining, a failed clear by the Purple Knights found the puck slipped to the blue line, where McAvoy blasted a shot into the lower right of the net.
  • During a second-period power play, Donovan's tip-in from the slot of sophomore Madi Ressler's feed pushed the lead to 3-0 at 12:15.
  • The Purple Knights tallied the next two goals, beginning with Kennard finishing near the right post with 14:52 gone after Langbacka's pass from the goal line extended hit a Saint Anselm skate and slid out front.
  • Just 27 seconds into the third period, Langbacka rushed through the right circle and roofed a shot over Lalande to create a one-goal deficit.
  • With Saint Michael's looking to knot the game during a power play, Tulchinsky potted a shorthanded marker from the left circle at 3:44, tipping in graduate student Kelly Golini's feed.
