THE ACTION
- Hand singled with two down in the top of the first inning before Greene singled, and an outfield error plated Hand.
- Cherry escaped a bases-loaded, two-out situation in the third by inducing an inning-ending fly out.
- A two-out error brought another Lion home in the fourth.
- Hiscock led off the home half with a single before Devens walked, but Greene retired the final three batters.
- A two-out error gave Molloy its final run in the seventh frame.
- Waghorn was plunked with one down in the bottom half, and Connor walked with two out to bring the potential tying run to the plate. However, Greene fanned the final hitter.
