WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - The Saint Michael's College softball team lost a 3-0 decision to 2021 NCAA East Region Tournament qualifier Molloy College on Monday during The Spring Games at the DiamondPlex Softball Complex. The Lions did not plate an earned run in the contest.

THE ACTION

• Hand singled with two down in the top of the first inning before Greene singled, and an outfield error plated Hand.
• Cherry escaped a bases-loaded, two-out situation in the third by inducing an inning-ending fly out.
• A two-out error brought another Lion home in the fourth.
• Hiscock led off the home half with a single before Devens walked, but Greene retired the final three batters.
• A two-out error gave Molloy its final run in the seventh frame.
• Waghorn was plunked with one down in the bottom half, and Connor walked with two out to bring the potential tying run to the plate. However, Greene fanned the final hitter.
