- Addy Fenton's opening strike gave Saint Michael's the lead 59 seconds into the contest.
- Rattigan scored twice during a 4-0 counter, when Bock netted a goal and handed out an assist. Rattigan's free-position marker made it 4-1 at 14:12 of the second quarter.
- Jordy Fenton tallied 2:07 later before Jolly scored at 11:13, but Murphy converted sophomore Amanda Drislane's (West Newbury, Mass./Pentucket Regional) helper 54 seconds later to keep Saint Michael's within 5-3.
- Saint Rose tallied the next 15 goals before Murphy scored off of senior Kelsey Bush's (North Conway, N.H./Kennett) assist with 2:56 left in the fourth quarter.
