AMHERST, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College men's soccer team lost at Daemen University, 3-1, on Saturday at Karrer Field. The Purple Knights played for the second time in three days.

THE ACTION
- Bartlo cracked the scoring column at 8:20 of the first half, tucking a blast from the right side of the box under the crossbar.
- A hand ball in the box gave Saint Michael's a penalty kick opportunity in the 21st minute, and McCaskill converted the try at 20:38 to draw the teams level.
- Bachetto put the Wildcats back on top at 67:12 before scoring again exactly three minutes later off of a corner kick set.
- McHugh made four saves down the stretch, all between the 73rd and 75th minutes, to keep Saint Michael's within striking distance, but a pair of corner kicks by the visitors in the final 2:15 did not lead to shots.
