  • The Purple Knights made a push for the winner late in regulation, as first-year Kayleigh Crowell (Beverly, Mass./Beverly) was stopped on a point-blank bid out front in the 81st minute before senior Paulina Valentine's (New Hyde Park, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial) header was denied by Paton less than a minute later.
  • Sophomore Christina Cummings' (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) final bid from the top of the box was turned away with 41 seconds to go, and the teams ended scoreless, as the NCAA eliminated regular-season overtime this season.
