COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's basketball team lost to regionally-ranked Bentley University, 52-27, on Saturday during Northeast-10 Conference play in the Ross Sports Center. The Falcons were fifth in this week's D2SIDA East Region Media Poll.

THE ACTION
- The teams played through six lead changes and five ties in the opening 14:03 of the contest, with neither team leading by more than four points in that time. After Bentley netted the game's first four points, Saint Michael's countered with a 7-0 run, forging ahead on Brophy's three-pointer at 7:04 of the first period.
- Slaven's driving lay-up put the Purple Knights back in front at 15-13 with 4:18 left, and MacDonough's jumper at 6:44 of the second provided a 17-16 edge while snapping the teams' combined 5:04 scoreless drought.
- First-year Cassidy Yeomans knocked down a three 47 seconds later to give the Falcons the lead for good, kicking off a game-ending 36-10 run.
