THE ACTION

  • The Dutchwomen responded a little more than a minute later, as Bourque rung a shot from the high slot off of the crossbar, and first-year Amanda Quan cashed in on a second chance from the left circle for the first power-play marker at 11:05.
  • Sophomore Maddie Suitor potted another power-play goal at 17:07, roofing a shot from in close.
  • Bourque fired a shot off of Mudrak's blocker from the right circle at 7:15 of the second period, with the power-play strike pushing the Union lead to 3-1. Junior Meredith Killian found the net from the right point 4:07 later.
