THE ACTION

  • Slaven buried a three-pointer at 8:41 of the first quarter to give Saint Michael's a 5-0 lead, the largest advantage by either squad in the opening half. The teams played through four lead changes and three ties in the first 20 minutes.
  • The Purple Knights ended the half on a 7-1 run, as another Slaven triple at 39 seconds sent the hosts into halftime up 28-24. Blake's jumper at 9:47 of the third quarter extended the run to 9-1, and the hosts led by six.
  • Jordan's jumper capped a 12-4 run, giving Adelphi a 36-34 edge at 4:04, but Slaven's floater at 2:30 put the hosts ahead, 38-36.
