Men's Soccer Suffers First NE10 Road Loss, Downed at Saint Anselm, 1-0

MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Saint Michael's College men's soccer team suffered its first Northeast-10 Conference road loss of the season at Saint Anselm College, 1-0, on Tuesday at Melucci Field.

  • Hood extended to make a diving save of junior Amos Schramm's (Sagard, Mecklenburg-Pomerania, Germany/Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Gymnasium) 60th-minute penalty kick.
  • Barrett denied junior Samuel Assantha's point-blank shot near the left post in the 65th minute before classmate Caden Leader pushed a follow-up bid wide.
  • Dresens broke the stalemate at 69:48, heading home junior Michael Provenzano's curling free kick from the edge of the box.
