- In a 9-9 contest, Laggis knocked down a free throw with 1:58 remaining in the opening period to spark a 13-0 run. Five players scored, led by Laggis' five points, and Saint Michael's never trailed from there.
- The Purple Knights' advantage grew to 35-16 at 1:30 of the second stanza on Blake's hoop.
- Abeliz Rodriguez had eight points during a 10-0 run that bridged halftime, but Saint Michael's utilized a 14-5 run to go back ahead by 19, at 54-35, on a Blake freebie at 1:08 of the third. The lead grew to as much as 23 early in the fourth quarter.
