LAKE PLACID, N.Y. - Sophomore Helene Kristoffersen (Rælingen, Norway/Dønski VGS) placed fourth to highlight a quartet of Saint Michael's College women's Alpine skiers in the top 21 during an NCAA-qualifier giant slalom on Thursday at Whiteface Mountain. Men's competitors completed only one run before their event was terminated midway through the second run due to heavy fog. Thursday's GS, which did not feature team scoring, replaced Feb. 3's canceled Saint Michael's Carnival GS race.
