HANCOCK, Vt. - Sophomore Christian Lødemel (Oslo, Norway/Persbråten VGS) paced the Saint Michael's College Alpine skiing team with a 16th-place giant slalom finish on Friday during the Middlebury College Carnival at the Middlebury Snowbowl. The event triples as the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) Championship and NCAA East Regional Championship.

• Saint Michael's Alpine and Nordic combined to score seventh-place points among 14 schools on Friday, with 218. The College is 24.5 points shy of fifth-place Colby College.
