HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - The Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse team went back and forth with Savannah (Ga.) College of Art and Design (SCAD), the 10th-ranked team in the NAIA, before losing a 13-11 decision on Thursday at the SCAD Athletics Complex. The Bees advanced to the 2022 NAIA national semifinals.

THE ACTION
- Lynch struck for an eight-meter tally at 10:08 of the first quarter for the only scoring in the opening 10:49 of the contest.
- Berkeley later tallied a hat trick in a matter of 4:12 during a 4-1 run that gave SCAD Savannah a 4-2 lead by 13:03 of the second stanza.
- After the teams combined for eight goals in the first half, they combined for nine in the third period alone.
- Back-to-back Alto goals 1:48 apart knotted the teams at six apiece by 9:27 before sophomore Emma Roch scored at 8:08 to put her team in front for good, and Plume found the net again with 6:35 left.
- The Purple Knights trimmed their deficit to one goal three times from there, including when Lynch converted Drislane's feed at the left side of the circle with 13:23 left in the fourth.
- However, Haas scored twice in a 1:26 stretch, and the Bees led 12-9 by 6:21.
