COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse team lost to No. 24 Southern New Hampshire University, 21-7, during Northeast-10 Conference play on Tuesday at Duffy Field. The Penmen were 24th in this week's Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) national poll.

- The Purple Knights held a 17-15 edge in draw controls while being trimmed in ground balls, 25-18.
- Alto totaled the second-most draw controls of her career, and the most during an NE10 outing.
THE ACTION
- Shelby Cole scored 1:03 into the contest, but the Purple Knights countered with three straight goals in a matter of 1:27. Murphy (11:51) and Fenton (11:12) tallied 39 seconds apart, both off of Drislane feeds, before Lynch made it 3-1 by 10:24 of the opening quarter.
- Graziano scored twice in a 4-0 counter, but Murphy's eight-meter goal at 13:37 of the second period brought the Purple Knights within 5-4.
- Shelby Cole scored twice in a 6-0 response, as the Penmen scored 16 of the final 19 goals.
